Blackduck 0.5% Sales and Use Tax
Local Tax General Notice Last Updated: 1/21/2025
Starting April 1, 2025, Blackduck will have a 0.5% sales and use tax. The Minnesota Department of Revenue will administer this tax. Revenues will fund the project identified in Ordinance No. 2024-03 adopted December 9, 2024.
The 0.5% sales tax applies to retail sales made into Blackduck. The use tax applies to taxable items used in Blackduck if the local sales tax was not paid. For more information, see Local Sales and Use Tax Guide.
