Located 25 miles from Bemidji, the city of Blackduck is located near Blackduck Lake along the northwest edge of the Chippewa National Forest. With a population of 800 people, the town is known for its unique recreational opportunities and scenic attractions and has all the amenities for visitors who plan on staying for a day or want to relocate.

The town is near 600 lakes, 1.5 million acres of public forest land, and hundreds of miles of snowmobile and cross-country trails in local and surrounding areas parks/trails.
