The Continental Divide is located just outside Blackduck city limits, many people consider the town to be located at the top of the world. The waters north of the divide flow into Canada's Hudson Bay, while waters south flow to the Gulf of Mexico. The city is in the center of a unique recreational area flourishing with picturesque attractions.

Blackduck Public Library

The Blackduck Community Library was established in 1909, to serve the city of Blackduck and the surrounding communities. We joined the Kitchigami Regional Library system in 1970 and offer full library services to all our patrons.
